O Red Kitchen

Ingredients

• 1 box yellow cake mix, plus ingredients to make cake
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup packed brown sugar
• 1 tsp salt
• 2 tbsp cinnamon
• 1½ cups butter, melted and cooled slightly (three sticks)
• 4½ cups all-purpose flour
• confectioners sugar for topping (optional)

Instructions

1. Mix yellow cake
2. Bake at 350º for 15 mins
3. While yellow cake is baking, begin crumb topping.
4. Combine sugars, butter and vanilla.
5. Mix until smooth.
6. Add cinnamon and 1 cup of flour at a time until mixed through.
7. Remove yellow cake from oven
8. Carefully add crumb mixture on top of partially baked yellow cake using a rubber spatula or similar until fully covered.
9. Continue baking until a fork comes out clean. Approximately 20 mins.
10. Dust with confectioner sugar
